Chris Heiler | October 4, 2010
Podcast: Landscape Designer Katie Ketelsen on Networking, Tweeting, and Chicken Fetishes Yeah, you read that right. My guest for this month's podcast has a chicken fetish. I suppose it could be worse.

Once we get past the chicken talk landscape designer Katie Ketelsen and I discuss how she has used Twitter to attract more customers. It's really a simple strategy that I think is often overlooked.

An interesting twist to this is the fact that Katie does not own her own company, she works for Timber Pine which is a full-service nursery and landscape company just outside of Des Moines, Iowa. As an employee, she is bringing in new business for the company simply by building personal relationships on Twitter.

Wouldn't we all like employees like Katie? (member-only resource) . . .
