I'm a green industry social media consultant and strategist. I develop social media strategy and training programs for clients ranging from landscape design/build firms and lawn care companies to garden centers, growers and specialty manufacturers.

My years of experience in the landscape industry have led to my practical and pragmatic approach to developing social media programs for my clients that build customer loyalty, increase brand awareness and drive direct sales.

From Design Freak to Tech Geek

I've always had an intense passion for our green industry.

I graduated with a degree in Horticulture from Michigan State University and have been entrenched in the landscape industry ever since those college days--going on almost 20 years now.

I've worked for great companies. I've worked for terrible companies.

I've worked for garden centers. I've worked for full service landscape design/build firms. I've dug, trenched, trimmed...and have smashed my fingers with a rubber mallet with the best of you.

I operated my own successful landscape design firm for seven years.

I readily admit I'm kind of a geek. I embrace technology and all things digital and social--all of which has led to my career shift into social media consulting, training, and coaching for green industry businesses and professionals.

I also speak at landscape industry events around the country such as PLANET's Green Industry Conference, ANLA's Management Clinic, APLD's International Design conference and a bunch of others.

I now live in Austin, Texas, a transplant from the midwest and the great state of Michigan.
