Last week, my good friend Jody Shilan at FromDesign2Build.com reminded me about the 1992 film, Glenngarry Glen Ross, when we were discussing sales. If you have seen this movie, you no doubt remember the scene with Alec Baldwin discussing the "ABC's of selling".
I think of this scene whenever I hear someone mutter the words, "The leads are weak".
Is there a lesson in this scene?
For me personally, the lesson is don't wait behind your desk for lousy leads from other people--take action everyday that generates qualified leads and better yet, qualified referrals.
