2/9/2009: Online Course Teaches Landscape Designers How To Build Their Brand on the Web Zeeland, Michigan, February 9th -- LandscapeLeadership.com, an online community of professional landscape designers, is hosting a free online course all about building a presence on the web. The three week course will teach designers how to utilize websites and blogs to help build their business and market their talents. Each Monday a new module, or lesson plan, will be delivered using video and audio technology for participants to follow at their own pace from the comforts of home. A private online forum will also be available to the course participants to interact with each other during the three week course. The course will cover the basics of starting a website and blog, the essential elements required, common mistakes to avoid and how to utilize a website and blog as part of an overall marketing strategy. Designers will also be given the opportunity to participate in "Hot Seats" and have their website or blog critiqued. The course is for professionals who currently have a website and for those just getting started.
