Profit Tip of the Week: "Pay It Forward"
January 27, 2009

This isn't much of a "Profit Tip" this week. It's more of an

announcement I suppose.

I'm sure most of you understand the concept of "paying it

forward"--someone does something nice for you so you do

something nice for someone else. That's probably over-simplified

a bit...

Have you seen the Liberty Mutual Insurance commercials showing

this in action? I complain every time I see one of these because

they make acts of everday kindness seem sooo dramatic (then my wife

tells me to shut up).

Anyway...

We're trying to "pay it forward" at LandscapeLeadership.com.

I've set up an online "book store" at LandscapeLeadership, which

is available to everyone, not just members of the site.

What I want you to do is purchase your books through the

LandscapeLeadership bookstore.

Here's why:

I earn a commission on every purchase--up to 15% actually. You

don't pay a higher price for your books, I'm just rewarded for

making the sale.

What you need to know is that I am donating ALL of the commissions

I earn from the book store to Kiva.org.

Kiva.org is a non-profit organization that allows you to lend as

little as $25 to a specific low-income entrepreneur in the developing

world and as they repay their loan, you get your money back.

It's a powerful and sustainable way to empower someone to lift

themselves out of poverty.

We currently have members on our Kiva.org team lending money to

entrepreneurs in Senegal, Cambodia, Togo, Peru...all over the world.

Kiva.org is an AMAZING organization and I'd love to have you on our

team helping us "pay it forward."

There are two specific ways you can "pay it forward," learn more

by visiting our book store at

Thank you for the consideration.
